Rose & The Thorn and Spider-Man

Rose and the Thorn is another great concept that I wish would have caught on more with readers.  I love the idea of a dual personality where one half is a crime-fighter, unknown to the other half. It might be cool to see her show up on Arrow, she would fit into that world and could use the exposure to a larger audience..

Yes! Rose & the Thorn would be absolutely brilliant on Arrow! It would not only bring some attention to the character, as you say, but it could also become a serious look at Dissociative Identity Disorder, bringing awareness to that condition.

I agree that R&T could work well on Arrow, and would be easy to write in -- just make Rose one of Dinah's neighbors while Dinah is coming to grips with having a masked identity and mistaking Thorn as being in the same situation.

Part of the reason I think R&T never caught on is that originally she was stuck in the horrible 1970's Lois Lane book, and later the Enchantress was much better at the split personality shtick.

I could seriously envision Spidey crossing paths with Rose Forrest as part of some effort to keep the Maggia and the 100 from starting a gang war for control of New York City.

Great job, Ross! :-)

Rose & the Thorn's whole origin story was tied into fighting The 100, the same villainous group that'll be part of the Black Lightning television series. If there's ever to be a live action Rose Forrest/Thorn, it would now make more sense there.

On a lighter note: how about Hanna-Barbera's Moby Dick vs. Fin Fang Foom?

I've never read anything with Rose and Thorn, but I'm a fan of Mike Baron's Badger. Badger had multiple personalities one which was the superhero Badger, another his real identity et cetera.

Have you ever done a Badger cover?

FreeLiveFree asked, "Have you ever done a Badger cover?"

I knew he had, but then I checked the tags list (left column) and no Badger. Did a word search on the page. The trick is, he's filed under "The" along with several other "The..." characters.

Why libraries use the "Badger, The" form. :D
